As a member of YRPA I met Jim often at various events, he was extremely helpful no matter the task. Driving one of our vehicles in the Saint Patrick’s Day so we could ride our bikes, he sat tall in the seat. Another lasting memory was a several hour tour of a very large tractor hitched to a couple scrapers, he was building dirt dikes! A great man. Bob Mackin

I am truly sorry to hear that Captain James Sindelar has died. We served together for many years in the Naval Reserve and that time created many great memories of Jim. Jim often worked until late in the night on his ranch so he could attend the monthly drill weekends. That is how dedicated he was to our Nation. I hated to see how JIm's memory was lost over the last few years.

My deepest condolences to Ginnie & all the Sindelar family. Their gift of John H Dover Memorial Park will ever be a symbol of Jim’s life, and I’m forever grateful.

My sympathies to all of Mr. Sindelar's family. I didn't know this man, but it sounds like he was a wonderful veteran and human being. A great loss. I just want the family to know that I thank him for Dover Park. It became one of my favorite places for a nice walk with beautiful views. A real gift to Billings.
