John Brown

John Thomas Brown, 83, of Billings, died on January 17, 2014, from complications with pneumonia. Born in Lewistown on July 1, 1930, Jack graduated from St. Leos Catholic High School and would continue his education, graduating from UCLA with an Art Degree. Jack enjoyed a successful career in advertising while raising his family in California. Jack served in the U.S. Navy from 1951-1954. He retired to Billings 19 years ago along with his wife and enjoyed several years volunteering at the Peter Yegen Museum at Billings airport. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Margaret “Peggy” Brown; three children, Mark Brown, Michele James, and Michael Brown, all residing in Billings. Funeral services will be Friday, January 24, 2014, 12:00 noon at St.Patirck Co-Cathedral. A private family interment of ashes will take place at a later date.
