Margaret Evans

Margaret L. Evans, 80 went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 9,2021 after a brief illness. She is deeply loved and will always be missed by her brother Herb, sister Ruth, niece Pamela, nephews David, Robert, Herbie, Paul and cousins Everett and Lenora. Margy, as she liked to be called, is loved, and will be missed by her dear “WoW” friends, Virginia, Violet and Kay. They enjoyed many special times together over the years, especially their regular games of farkle. She had many friends she met through the Salvation Army in Billings who will also miss her greatly. Margy graduated from high school in 1959 and from Bob Jones University in 1963. She enjoyed traveling and also lived in many places including: Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Hawaii, Colorado and Montana. She taught kindergarten and elementary school grades for many years. Later in life she was a nanny and caregiver to people she cared about and after retirement, worked at Walmart for a few years. Margy had a zest for life, a warm and ready smile, and a hearty laugh. She was a great listener but also loved to tell a good joke or story. She was kindness in action and loved to help anyone in any way she could. Music, playing piano and singing were great sources joy for her however, her greatest passion and source of peace was studying her Bible and knowing her Savior Jesus Christ. Special thanks and heartfelt gratitude to the physicians, nurses, and staff at St. Vincent's Healthcare for their excellent and tireless care of Margy while she was there. Thank you to the staff at Dahls Funeral Chapel for their kindness and service. Services will be held at the discretion of family and friends at a later time.
