Neal Beaumont

Neal Jerome Beaumont II was born on August 4, 1993, in Billings to Neal Jerome Beaumont, Sr., and Trudy Curtis. Neal was known as “Levi” to all who loved him, this included his wife Misty Red Star whom he married on October 22, 2021. They shared three daughters together Ecko, Keelee, and Furi.

He was given his Apsaalooke name, “Predicts weather by moon”, by his late Uncle Dennis during Pryor's Clan Day. Levi was a Greasy Mouth Child and respected the Crow clan system.

Levi had a big heart, and this truly showed when he took Ecko as his own without hesitation. They liked to go rounds joking with each other. Keelee was his sweetheart and Furi was the boss of the crew. Levi and his dad, Neal, always had a good relationship. In recent years, they formed a stronger connection as father and son.

Levi attended St. Charles Mission and Plenty Coups High School in Pryor. He completed his high school studies through the Billings Public Schools Adult Learning Center. Levi graduated from Salish Kootenai College in 2014 earning a Highway Construction/Heavy Equipment Operations certificate. During his time at Salish Kootenai College, he enjoyed hanging with his Heavy Equipment Crew which included his cousin Lawryn and friend Theo. They liked to tease his brother Cordell about being a truck driver, but all four had a great bond during and after school.

He was employed by the City of Billings as a Truck Driver at the time of his passing and was a member of the Teamsters Union. Levi will always be remembered as the life-of-the-party, finding enjoyment and love in all family gatherings. As a young man, Levi enjoyed running around the Beaumont Ranch and the Pryor Mountains. As kids, if you saw Levi, you were sure to see his younger brother Cordell. They looked out for each other all through their lives and were a package deal. He shared a bond with his sister Heather saying they were Thunder
Buddies. Levi enjoyed teasing his sister Jolene, yet always supported her. He loved his brother Tommy and looked out for his baby brother Beau.

Levi is preceded in death by his grandparents, Phillip and Martha Beaumont Sr., Ronnie, Dennis, and his uncle Stephen “Smitty” Beaumont.

He is survived by his parents, wife Misty Red Star and their daughters Ecko Red Star, Keelee, and Naomi Furi Beaumont, his siblings Thomas, Heather (Larris), Jolene (Melton, Jr.), Cordell (Katrina), Beau, Kyle BirdInGround, Cody Blue, Elizabeth “Sweetheart” and Neal Jr. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.

He was especially close to his nieces and nephews Jaylen, Thomas Jr., Stormey, Wesley, Ezra, Larris, Jr., Layla, Melton III “Smiles”, Kiara, Dakota, and Everly. Levi took his nephews as his own sons. He bonded with Larris Jr. by nicknaming him “Po” which he would answer by calling Levi “Uncle Bigfoot.”

Extended families include Plain Feather, Half, Reed, Bird Hat, LaForge, Sun Goes Slow, Enemy Hunter, Lincoln, Little Owl, Flat Lip, DeCrane, Simpson, BirdInGround, Bear Crane, Old Elk, Shane, Holds The Enemy, Sings Good/Stewart, Big Day, White, Smells, Snell, Fighter, Travels Well Known (Nomee), Dillon, High Pine, Curtis, Bell Rock, and Pretty Eagle descendants. If we have forgotten anyone, please forgive us in this time of mourning.

Funeral was held on March 15, 2022. Burial followed at the Sings Good/Stewart family cemetery in Pryor.
