Obituary
Rena A. Metcalf, the spunky one, has joined the angels. She was a warrior for many years dealing with her mobility challenges & head injuries. She passed peacefully in her sleep on April 8th.
Rena had the biggest heart and playful spirit. She accepted everyone for who they were and cared for them unconditionally. She loved with everything she had.
Rena was born in Glasgow, MT in 1962 from the late Virginia & Henry (Blue) Jeanotte. She is survived by her son Jeremy, his daughter Makenlee, sister Lucy Johnson, nephews Kyle & Corey Johnson and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Laurel United Methodist Church, Friday, April 29th at 11am. 307 W. 4th St., Laurel, MT 59044. A luncheon will be provided afterwards. Please contact Lucy if you would like to be part of the service.

Rena was one of my favorite childhood friends. I remember her doing cartwheels and flips. Even after her mobility was affected, she remained agile in spirit. I’m so sorry for your loss.

So sorry I was unable to attend Rena's memorial service. I always admired Rena she had a wonderful zest for life. Her outlook was always positive no matter what life delt her. The last 13 years was not kind to Rena, she made the best of it. She looked her family, was extremely happy to have a granddaughter. Glad she no longer has to suffer. My condolences to Lucy and her family.
