My mom told me a story one time about how she didn’t have any presents for us kids for Christmas and my dad was traveling and she didn’t know if he would be bringing anything home for us. She took some boxes and spray painted them and put decorations on them and put candy in them. I never forgot that story. Turns out my dad did come through with some presents but the spray painted boxes stayed forever in my memory. There were a lot of people at your funeral, mom. They miss you like I do. I love you.
