Tamara Nile Johnson (Little Eagle) was born on September 25, 1973 in Billings, Montana to Janice Bellrock and Sidney Little Eagle. She passed away in Billings, Montana on May 18, 2022.
Tamara resided in Bullhead SD as a child, her father Sidney Little Eagle was a teacher at the Bullhead Day school. Tamara was loved by all the family because of her outgoing personality and boisterous laughter.
She was very proud of her native heritage. And as such an outgoing person she would befriend anyone and conversate with people. She enjoyed music and her famous game of pool and would enjoy a challenge from anyone. Although she would let you know without any offense you would probably lose. She loved her family and friends without any reservations. And was always so proud of her children, her nieces and her nephew. There was always a special love for her Little Eagle family.
Tamara is preceded in death by: Great Great Grandfather: Chief Bellrock of the Crow Tribe; Maternal Great Grandparents: Charles Bellrock and Emma Spotted Hat; Paternal Great Grandparents: Leo Little Eagle and Angeline (Eagle) Little Eagle; Grand Parents: Cecil Little Eagle Sr., Ruth Little Eagle, Clara Bellrock and Clem Stops; Grandmothers: Nancy Rosebud, Evelyn Foote, Oley & Madeline Little Eagle; Uncles: Ivan Little Eagle, James K. Bellrock Sr. (Sonny), Robert, Frank, Kenny, Cleveland Bellrock, Melvin Rogers, Norman; Aunts: Ardis Little Eagle, Connie Red Bear, Theresa, Ellagene, Ethel, Veronica, Carol, Edwina, Vanetta; Sisters: Ellagene, Lisa, Kevalene; Brothers: Dion, Sidney Leo, Leonard, William; and Daughter: Gabrieanna.
Tamara is survived by: Children: Raquel, Keisha, Joseph, and Kyre; Sisters: Lana Little Eagle, Amanda Little Eagle (Lindsey) and Alvonne Penola (Bismarck, ND); Mother: Janice Bellrock Little Eagle; Brothers: Darin and Dalton; Uncles Toney Shoestring (Fort Yates, ND), Cecil Little Eagle Jr (Minneapolis, MN), Lowell Little Eagle (Bismarck, ND), Linwood, Clinton, Mike, and Carson; Aunts: Ruby Shoestring (Fort Yates, ND), Ava, Emma, Clara, Melvina, Emma Lena, Eloise, Clemencia; Family Sisters: Lena Pauline, Carla Ann, Clarina, Latoya, Nicole, Carmen, Gaye, Adriene, Nikki, Precious, Randi, Kathy, and Rita; Family Brothers: JK, Edwin, Johnnie, Ethan, RJ, Ooqualie, Justin, Brandon, Vernon, Chuck, Jessie, Anthony, and Richard. A visitation will be held on Saturday May 21, 2022 from 5pm – 9pm at Dahl Funeral Chapel, 10 Yellowstone Avenue, Billings, Montana. A Celebration of Life with Sharing of Memories will be held Monday May 23, 2022 at 12pm at Pentecostals of Billings, 2939 Colton Boulevard, Billings, Montana.

My heart is sad at the news of Tammy’s passing.. I loved her very much.. I have so many wonderful memories of laughing with Tammy.. My life was made better because of knowing her.. I am thankful that she knew who Jesus is and that she knew He loved her.. My thoughts and prayers are with Janice, Lana, Darin, Dalton, Don, and those who knew and loved her.. Much Love.. Aunty , I don’t know what to feel 💔 my heart shattered when I herd the news …. I’m so confused and lost for words , I always wanted to make you happy and proud for you were everybodies favorite aunty and go to , the thought of never hearing your voice doesn’t sit well with me 😪 I was supposed to come back and make you happy and apologize for any damaged I caused to our family 🥺💔💔 TT I’m so hurt , your laugh and hugs will forever be memories I cherish the I love you’s too .
