Jordan LeVeaux

Saturday night, September 3rd, a light went out when Jordan LeVeaux was called home.

Jordan was born October 22, 1993, in Great Falls, Montana, to Ron and Debbie LeVeaux; he joined his older brother, Jared.

Jordan entered this world as an independent soul. As soon as he could talk, his mantra was, “My do'd it myself!”

Jordan enjoyed being active. His body was made for moving. He spent his days at the park playing and writing filthy rap songs with his friends, participating in competitive soccer, skiing, snowboarding, hanging at the skatepark, and swimming.

Jordan loved everything “water.” If he wasn't camping and boating with family at Holter Lake, he was in a pool, on the river surfing, or cliff diving at the Sluice Boxes. As a lifeguard in high school, Jordan thrilled the crowd on the Flow Rider at the waterpark with his mad skills, even winning the Flow Rider Challenge with the crew from KRTV News. His first year working, he let his friends in for free and paid for it the next year . . . extra laps every day pulling empty buckets as draglines, a prelude to his weightlifting passion.

Jordan attended school at Sunnyside Elementary, where he was every teacher's “little burst of energy.” He continued his schooling at East Middle School and went on to graduate from Great Falls High in 2012. He attended college at the University of Montana, majoring in fun!

From there, Jordan moved to Billings. He began a career as a flooring installer and soon worked his way up to sales rep with T&A Supply, Jordan returned to Great Falls for a period of time. He worked at Total Nutrition & Fitness. Here, his love of weightlifting began. Jordan lifted competitively and won first and second place medals. He returned to Billings and managed Anytime Fitness. He was everyone's hype man, encouraging and motivating his clients and friends to become a better version of themselves.

Jordan was a personal loan officer at Mountain America Credit Union up until his passing. He was a true salesman who put his heart into his job and caring for his customers and coworkers, who were like family. Jordan planned to start a new career on Labor Day he hoped would allow him to see the world.

Jordan is survived by the love of his life, Heaven Cherpeski, parents Ron and Debbie, brother Jared, grandmother Rose Hampton, nephews Oliver and Easton, nieces Kenzie, Haylie, and Grace, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and scores of good friends. If you met Jordan you were his friend… even if he couldn't remember your name.

A Celebration of Life gathering was organized by Jordan's friends on Labor Day. A common theme shared that day was Jordan's ability to bring light and love to everyone lucky enough to know him.

Services for Jordan will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 10th, at Yellowstone Fitness, with a reception to follow at 3:00 p.m. at McCormick Cafe, 2419 Montana Avenue.
