Delores Muth

Delores Ann Muth, 81, of Billings, MT passed away September 14, 2022 at the Billings Clinic. She was born February 12, 1941 at home in Lefor, Stark County, North Dakota, the daughter of Lawrence and Theresa (Bayer) Knaup. She graduated from Gladstone High School.

On October 15, 1962 she was united in marriage to Maurice Muth in Gladstone, ND. Delores worked as a grocery clerk in Billings, and was the manager of the Lincoln Hotel in Billings. She also worked many years at One Hour Valet. She was an active member of the Moose Lodge, working her way through all of the chairs to the highest being, Senior Regent. She volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader and participated in the Foster Grandparents Program, working at Newman and Ponderosa Elementary Schools in Billings; this brought her the most joy. She also loved babysitting, in recent years, Mikey was her little sidekick and she loved spending her days with him!

Her many hobbies included sewing, computer puzzles, baking, and spending time with family and friends.

Delores was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Muth Berg; son Howard Muth; granddaughter Beth Ann Wick; brothers Charles Knaup, Richard Knaup and sister Charlene Mischel.

She is survived by her husband Maurice; daughter Darla Berumen; siblings Daniel (Virginia) Knaup, Phillip (Betty) Knaup, Ann (Ed) Stockert, Angie Hellman, Shirley (Larry) Fettig, Ron (Diane) Knaup, Francis (Marla) Knaup, Roger (Karen) Knaup; grandchildren Douglas (Ciera) Berg, Michaila (Nathyn) Thompson, Joseph Berg; and 8 great-grandchildren; and two grand puppies Ricky and Lucy.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at St. Anne's Chapel with committal in Holy Cross Cemetery. Luncheon to follow at the home of Maurice.
