I found the funny on his phone. It was emblematic of the way he wrote poetry for which he had quite a reputation. I wish he had written his own obituary because it would have been so much better. He had 2 best friends in his life, Dick Isern and Gene Pigeon. I love how much respect he had for people and especially his elders. He wanted so badly to come home to Montana which we braved our 1st cold winter in many years to do. It's amazing how 40 years can sustain you through a time like this. I'm deeply grateful for them and I'm sure glad his suffering has ended. God speed and we'll be together again. With love. Mrs. Yuill P. S. Everyone --- please stop smoking! Ellan

Cliff was a best friend to my Brother in law Gene- they were like brothers through the years. I loved being around them and their kids and Cliff was always up for a new adventure. Between he and Gene they had a music radio show in Lewistown, did photography of rodeos- even met Wayne Newton at one! Cliff was always there for friends and family with a genuine caring. He will be so missed. Condolences to his wife Ellen and his Children and their families.
