Obituary
Gimmer Robison was passionate about old cars, vintage toys, and collectible hunting knives. He loved watching his granddaughter's sports, playing bingo, going to old car shows, garage sales, flea markets and swap meets. After retirement, he liked going to coffee with friends and going to the bread store.
Donald “Gimmer” Robison, 78, died in his home Sept. 27, 2022, after a few months of illness.
The third born son of Dorothy (Nash) and Frank Robison, he was born June 2,1944, when his father was serving in France during WWII. He lived his entire life in Billings. He went to Taft and Garfield schools graduating from Senior High School in 1962.
He married Linnea Briese on Oct. 26, 1962. They were married 57 years, three daughters were born to this union: Tawni Robison, Sherlene (Butch) O'Dea, LeRae (Rob) Wagner.
He is survived by his daughters; sister, Sandy Muniz, brother, Randall "Pete" (Becky), sisters-in-law; Sue Robison, Brenda Robison, and Wava Robison., beloved granddaughters; Jalen and Jenna Wagner. He also leaves special nephews Doug Robison and Matt Robison, several nieces and many, many loyal friends.
He was proceeded in death by his wife Linnea, his parents, brothers Dwayne, Doug and Gus and infant brother, Gordon, and sister-in-law Linda Robison.
He was a delivery man delivering milk, linens and met many friends while delivering beer for the Atlas Beverage. Gimmer was also member of the Local 30 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, Roarin' 20s Club, Goggles and Dusters and the Model A Club in Billings.
