Obituary
Andy Bulau died in a motorcycle accident on July 16, 2010. He was born in Olivia, MN on June 15, 1960 to Earl and Julie Bulau. Andy was a well traveled man throughout his lifes adventures; he was a hard working man, capable of almost any task, and took every task head on. He loved a good challenge and big projects. He was a heavy equipment mechanic for the largest coal mine in the world; he was capable of fixing almost anything big or small. He always looked out for the people he cared about, and took care of his kids. Andy was a unique individual with a salty sense of humor about as subtle as a steam roller. He had a fierce love of sarcasm and was always quick to a comeback, and was never afraid to say what was on his mind. To say the least, he called a spade a spade. Andy lived a life with little or no regrets, many adventures, and a lifestyle that will be remembered. He will always be loved and missed by his family and close friends.Andy is survived by his children, Amy (John), Michael (Shannon), Lara (Ed), Erin, Christopher and Nicholas; six grandchildren, Rebeka, Alan, Joshua, Calin, Nethaniel and Derek; siblings, Daniel, Kristine, Judith, Eddie and Julianne. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Peggy; and nephew Trevor Daniel Bulau.Viewing will be 1:00 to4:00 p.m. Thursday at the Dahl Chapel in Red Lodge. Cremation will take place. My thoughts and prayers are with all of Andy's family and friends. I only knew him a short time, but I enjoyed how he would always get people laughing and having a good time. He will be missed by many.

It is with shock and great sorrow that we heard of Andy's passing. Andy was in and out of our lives over the past 35+ years, often when he "was just passing through." We considered him to be more like a son and brother, rather than just a friend. He did so love getting reactions from his outrageous comments, yet he was always there if you needed help. He leaves a great legacy: love of family, loyalty to friends, helpfulness, a great work ethic, a willingness to try new things and laughter and smiles.
