Ernest Flynn

Ernie lived about half a block a way until I was in the 8th grade. I had the privilege of spending a lot of time with Ernie and his family they were the best. Ernie was just a great guy. I can't think of anyone I respect more. He overcame a lot in his life never felt sorry for himself and provided a lifetime of service to his friends and veterans, I only wish I had spent more time with Ernie. I will always remember his contagious laughter and sense of humor. He stopped in Salt Lake City. Utah to visit our family before he left for Viet Nam, I had no idea he was a scrabble shark. Just like me and grandma Reddoor. I love that game! He was a kind loving person.
