Doris Ferguson

Born in Burnside, Illinois on April 20,1936, Doris Brown was the daughter of Fred and Beulah Brown with 4 older sisters. She attended area country schools prior to Wyaconda Senior High School.

Doris married Jim Ferguson in 1953 and the two moved to Montana where they started their family. The family spent those first two summers in West Yellowstone and eventually moved to Montana in 1958. The two were blessed with five children, twenty-eight grandchildren, and twenty-two great grandchildren. Doris called Montana home until the time of her death, where she loved to spend time with her children, all of their kids and cooking huge dinners for all to enjoy.

Doris is survived by her daughter Deborah K Rensvold of Billings, MT; sons, Gregory Lee Ferguson of Indio, CA, James Anthony “Tony” Ferguson of Bozeman, MT, and Jason Todd Ferguson “Shantelle Ferguson” of Battle Ground, WA.

Doris is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years James Ferguson, her daughter Joyce Ann Rodriguez, her father Fred Brown, and mother Beulah Brown.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
