Herbert Seibert

Herbert Seibert, age 82, passed away at home on November 28, 2022. Herb was born on October 15, 1940, at Crvenda, Yugoslavia, the son of Franz Seibert and Eva Teifel Seibert Nikitschenko. As a result of World War II, Herb's family fled from Yugoslavia to Eisenerz, Austria. They were placed in a Displaced Persons Camp for eight years before being sponsored by Church World Services, arriving in Billings, Montana on June 29, 1951. He attended grade school, junior high and high school in Billings and graduated in 1960. Herb dedicated his life to Jehovah God at ten years of age, in Denver, Colorado. In 1962, while a baker at Safeway, Herb was injured in a motorcycle accident followed by a car accident, which affected his entire life. Herb married Carole Ann Wright Seibert on May 8, 1970. He was employed for five years as a sheet metal worker at VHA Service Plus, owned his own business for twenty years and was employed at Billings Heating & Cooling for five years. Herb retired in 2000. In 1985, Herb and Carole were blessed with the arrival of JoAnna Eva Seibert Bellamy. Herb and Carole traveled to fifteen states, Canada and Mexico, Austria and England, and eleven years in Montana in a motorhome. His interests were cooking, fishing with his family, and photography.

Herb was preceded in death by his parents, of Billings; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Blondina Seibert of Colombus and Billings. Herb's survivors include his wife of 52 years, Carole; his daughter and son-in-law, Kurtis and JoAnna Bellamy; grandchildren, Kameron and Kamille Bellamy; blended grandchildren, Branden, Kayden, and Kylie Bellamy, of Billings; sister, Elfriede Arneson, of Helena; brother, Werner and Debbie Seibert, of Fishtail; sister, Bill and Gisela Maehl, of Billings; five nephews, Frankie and Vince (Denver), David and Sande (Columbus), Herman and Tammy (Billings), and Nick and Julie Seibert (Seattle), Paul and Kelly Arneson (Helena), Joel and Emily (Helena), and Kurt Repnak (Texas); and one niece, Debbie Arneson of Helena.

A memorial is scheduled for December 31, 2022, at 1:00 PM, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 201 Wicks Lane, with reception to follow.
