Roy Burch

Harley passed away May 12, 2018. He was born February 9, 1955 in Lewistown, MT, to Richard and Elizabeth Burch of Heath. He moved with his family in 1961 from Heath to Forest Grove. He attended school in Forest Grove and in Grass Range. During his career he worked on construction of the power plant in Colstrip, at the Billings Refinery, St. Vincent's Hospital, Allied, and Ferguson Enterprises in Billings. He was a member of Laborer's Union #1686. Happiest in the mountains, he spent time fishing, camping, rock climbing, and spelunking in the Pryors and Beartooths. He also assisted in high altitude archaeology surveys in the Beartooth Mountains. His favorite was “The Place” on the Stillwater River. Harley was preceded in death by his parents and by his son Karl. He is survived by his daughter Autumn of Billings, sisters Susan (Freeman) of Portland, OR, Nita (D'Wayne) of Billings, brothers Greg (Cindy) of Lewistown, and Wes (Sandy) of Portland, OR; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson all of whom he loved dearly; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He also leaves behind best friends Tim and Cindy, and his second family at Canyon Creek Brew Pub.
