Robert Hilario

Obituary
Bob Hilario was born to Joe and Theresa Hilario on March 22, 1949. He was raised by his beloved sister, Josie Heiser. Bob attended school in Billings Montana.
Bob was blessed with three children. The oldest, Theresa Lynn followed by the birth of his only son, Chad, and then his third child, daughter Katrina. He later met Toni Weil and married her in Red Lodge Montana in 1984.
Bob was a brilliant mechanic and worked at Selover Buick for most of his career. He would later find himself finishing his career and retiring from Underriner Motors to spend his time with family, watch Nascar, and most importantly drown a worm.
Bob loved socializing with his close friends and family, he was known by those close to him as the “oldest teenager in Billings”. Fishing was one hobby that this guy never grew tired of. There was no such thing as a bad day fishing, whether at Cooney Dam or beautiful Canada, by himself or with friends. He would never complain about a day of fishing.
Nascar made its way into the lives of the Hilarios. It became a favorite pastime on Sundays. One that he could share with his wife, daughters, son, and grandchildren. He enjoyed watching Nascar from the comfort of his home or from the grandstands at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The lifelong friendships Bob created were and are a rare find. Friendships that stood the test of time were always acknowledged and appreciated. Alex, Bob's grandson, was his very best friend. There was no place either of them would rather be than hanging out together and giving each other a hard time. We all could only hope to experience such an authentic bond.
Those who are left behind to remember and celebrate Bob, include his beloved wife Toni Hilario, son Chad Hilario, daughter Katrina Hilario, granddaughters Kyra (Travis) Eastwood, Lilly Hilario, Brook Roll, and grandson Alex Hilario. Bob also leaves behind his two sisters Lydia Norton and Josie Heiser. His four great grandbabies Alice, Ellie, Ava, and Theodore Eastwood will surely miss having the opportunity to take rides with Grampa Bob to South Park and go to the greasy spoon (King's Hat) for a burger, as those were the memories most loved and cherished by his other grandchildren.
Loved ones awaiting Bob with open arms include his daughter Theresa Lynn Hilario, his mother and father, and many beloved siblings and family.
Our family would like to send St. Vincent ICU a special thank you for surrounding our family with love and compassion during the most difficult time of our lives. For this we are grateful.
A graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 1:00 PM.
