Crystal Badura

Crystal Renee Badura, age 52, of Billings, Montana, departed from this life peacefully at St. Vincent Hospital, surrounded by some of her closest loved ones–her kids, her mom and stepfather, and her dear cousin, Christie.

Anyone who knew Crystal would tell you she was a firecracker. She lit up any room she entered and was always making people laugh with her spunk and fun-loving spirit. She always cared for others so well, and oftentimes you would find her helping out random strangers. She definitely had a heart of gold.

Crystal was an incredible fisherwoman, almost always catching more fish than everyone else she was with. She was also very good at sewing, always sewing blankets for her kids and grandkids. She taught her daughter how to sew, which is a special skill that will always be cherished.

Crystal will be greatly missed by so many, and her legacy continues. The lessons we learn from her are endless, but some are: slow down and enjoy your loved ones whenever possible, and help people any chance you can.

Crystal was preceded in death by her father Francis Badura and her brother Duane Badura. She is survived by her mother Esther Hoellein; stepfather Bill Hoellein; sons Matthew Lund (Cynthia), and Thomas Iiams (Darian); daughter Hailey; grandchildren Felicity, Camber, Eleanor, Elias, and Silas; Uncle Martin Badura and Aunt Carolyn Hubbard; and multiple cousins.

A vigil will be held at Dahl Funeral Chapel at 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 26, 2023, followed by a reception. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 27th at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church followed by a reception. Cyrstal's final resting place will be at City of Laurel Cemetery, Laurel, Montana.
