Obituary
Beau Harlan Beaumont was born on November 5, 2001, in Billings to Neal Jerome Beaumont, Sr. and Trudy Curtis. He was given his Apsáalooke name, “Leads the white man twice”, by the late Uncle Dennis. Beau was a Greasy Mouth and a Greasy Mouth Child.
Beau could always be found with a smile on his face. He was blessed with many gifts including his intellect, talent in sports, and hunting, and his lack of fear. He was very loyal with a unique heart. He would often show tough love and be brutally honest. However, Beau always kept an open heart and cared deeply about the people he shared his heart with. He had jokes that could make everyone in the room laugh. He was a brother that everyone could count on for protection, laughter, and love.
He attended Saint Charles Mission School, Plenty Coups, and West High School. Although he was a Pryor boy, he made his way to Hardin where he held many jobs. He worked at Red Eagle, Taco Johns, Bears, and the Good to Go gas station. His last job was with Centrimark where he was contracted to do roofing. He worked on many projects around the state and even on the arbor in Crow Agency. He was recently promoted from laborer to lead. His next goal was to become a foreman. He aspired to get his GED and attended classes at the HRDC. He was planning on enrolling in CDL classes this fall to become a crane operator with his job. He was good at making goals one at a time and after achieving them he would begin working on the next. One of his goals was to obtain a homesite with his dad, he selected a spot in Pryor. Beau shared with his father that he was interested in the residential construction business.
Beau was heartbroken after his older brother Levi passed. He stepped up and began to help his father Neal more. In the past six months, he spent more time with his dad. Beau was also helping his dad with a remodel of his family's home. They found comfort in spending time together, whether working or relaxing.
Beau was a family man and loved all his nieces and nephews. He would drive them to their football or basketball practices. He enjoyed taking his nephew Smiles hunting on the weekends.
He was extremely proud to become a father to his son Ve'sean.
Beau is preceded in death by his brother Levi Beaumont; grandparents Martha and Philip Beaumont Sr.; Ronnie, Dennis, and his uncle Stephen “Smitty” Beaumont; aunt Shawna Beaumont; and cousin/brothers Richard Crow and Thomas Crow.
He is survived by his parents, his son Ve'Sean; his siblings Thomas, Heather (Larris), Jolene (Melton, Jr.), Cordell (Katrina), Kyle BirdInGround, Cody Blue, Elizabeth “Sweetheart” and Neal
Jr. Also surviving are grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
He was especially close to his nieces and nephews Jaylen, Thomas Jr., Stormey, Wesley, Ezra, Larris, Jr., Layla, Melton III “Smiles”, Kiara, Dakota, Everly, Ecko, Keelee, and Naomi.
Extended families include Plain Feather, Half, Reed, Bird Hat, LaForge, Sun Goes Slow, Enemy Hunter, Lincoln, Little Owl, Flat Lip, DeCrane, Simpson, BirdInGround, Bear Crane, Old Elk,
Shane, Holds the Enemy, Stewart/Sings Good, Big Day, White, Smells, Snell, Fighter, Travels Well Known (Nomee), Dillon, High Pine, Curtis, Bell Rock, and Pretty Eagle descendants. If we
have forgotten anyone, please forgive us in this time of mourning.
A funeral will be held at Dahl Funeral Chapel on February 18, 2023. Burial will follow at the Stewart/Sings Good Family Cemetery in Pryor.
