I remember Bill from our childhood when our Grandmother Hilda Tew would fix roast beef dinner and the Tew, Jensen, and Schriver families would all gather at the "Old Folks Home" after Sunday church or holidays to visit and enjoy family time. I remember visits at Fort Peck lake at the Schriver cabin and fishing off the bank, good fun especially if the fish were biting.
Bill was always adventurous. His varied occupations and interests were his personality. I agree with him "Life is Good!" Enjoy it while we can!

On a deer hunting trip with Bill and two other guys I saw maybe the best shot I ever seen. We were deer hunting in an area with a lot of coyotes. Driving down a trail Bill spotted a coyote run out of a coulee across from us. Bill bailed out, knelt down and shot and dumped the coyote. We walked off the distance when we went to retrieve it and I believe it was something around 700 yards. And he shot it in the head. Bill humbly said it was the luckiest shot he ever made. Great guy to be around.

My condolences to the Family. Although I never met Bill, I know he was a great man, based on the qualities seen in the son he raised. 🙏🏻
