Laura, aka Pete to me as that is how I had always heard her called by my best friend Sherry and the Bentz family. Laura has always been a privilege to have known. Shes a true heart of gold, friendly and a genuine person to have known. I'm so deeply saddened of her passing and wish comfort to the family. Laura and I have known each other since grade school and have shared a life long friendship. Together, we have experienced being youngsters, teenagers, young single adults, married life, and our senior years. We had a very special bond filled with laughter, support, and some wild and unforgettable experiences! I am heartbroken with the loss of Laura, and will miss her presence in my life. I met Laura when her and Tim started dating, her beautiful eyes amazed me! So pretty! The more I got to know Laura, I began to realize that her eyes weren't the only beautiful thing about her. She had a heart of love, and the spirit of God which lived in that heart. The Lord knew she was exactly what Tim needed to heal from hurts in his life. He sent her his way specifically for that journey! She poured out her kindness, love, and perhaps a bit of needed structure into his life. He blossomed!
