Susan LaForge was an accomplished woman and achieved many great deeds in her life. In high school she was one of the top runners in the state, only second to the 4x state champion Ruby Yellowtail. They pushed each other to be the very best and were able to bring home Lodge Grass high 1st cross country state championship. Susan was also a member of one of the 1st girls teams to qualify for the state basketball tournament from Lodge Grass high. Susan was a member of the Business professionals of America who qualified to compete at the National competition at Cincinnati Ohio. Susan attended Bacone College in Muskogee Oklahoma. She made many lifelong friends there who she kept in regular contact with. Susan attended May technical college in Billings Montana where she received her Paralegal certification. Susan worked for the Apsaalooke judicial branch for several years. Susan owned and operated her own trucking business in Arizona. Susan completed the 4 cycles of Sundance with her older brother Les Left hand. Susan was a member of the Native American Church and attended many meetings with her dad and family.

Journey well aunty I love you, sure going to miss you. Only an Aunt can hug you like a mom, can keep secrets like a sister, share love like a friend.
