Dearest Burchell family- We are so very sorry for your loss. Dan was a fabulous man and we have fond memories of Dan and Shirley, especially at the ball field! Bobby and Trisha, you are especially in our thoughts and prayers. We think of you often and though our lives have put miles between us, we still cherish our friendship and memories. Find peace in knowing that Dan has reunited with the love of his life, and God has another special resident in heaven who will forever watch over you. We love you and miss you. Please let us know if you need anything. All our love and thoughts are with you. May God grant you comfort during this difficult time.

Grandpa Dan, thank you for teaching me the importance of knowing where you come from. Thank you for showing us how to love the same person for 60 years. Thank you for the annual calendars and I forgive you for always using the picture of me when I was 9 months pregnant. Every year. I will miss you and I will make sure my children know all about you. We love you!

My prayers are with each of you. Memories of your Dad are running through my mind. Offering me his praises and his opinions, advice and even " fathering " me at times. God Bless each of you. I have such fond memories of The Burchell household. Gayle, would sure love to hear from you.
