I worked with Glenna at The Windmill and was always happy to share a shift. She was a happy, positive joy to be around and often included extra money in my envelope because she knew one of the other waitresses always stiffed me. It was unnecessary, but she would pooh-pooh any suggestion that she not make up for the cheap one’s shortfall. She was kind, thoughtful, and just all around amazing. The world lost one of its brightest beacons of light. Please know my thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Glenna was such a beautiful soul inside and out. Our family looked forward to visiting with her at Hilands and my daughter’s request of more maraschino cherries. God bless your family.

Glenna was married to my cousin Jim. I remember when we saw her at his funeral, she was wearing a bright yellow outfit That seemed a little bit bold until she told us that was his favorite color. What a great idea. I admired that she did that. As you said, Glenna waited on us at several different restaurants over the years and always did a great job. I'm so sorry for your loss girls. I loved her Facebook posts of beautiful flowers. I hope she is surrounded by them now.
