I was lucky enough to meet Corey a few years ago when he and a few of his buddies were kind enough to show a few Colorado boys their home turf in the Breaks for a mule deer hunt. It didn’t take long before I felt like we were kindred souls! Whether it was the classic ford he showed up in, his casual downing of a sharp tail grouse as we drove around searching for deer, or our conversations about hunting and fishing or family, we had much in common. He had a solid understanding of the area we hunted and put the three of us who harvested on game. The morning of our return trip, Corey stopped by to say goodbye and we all picked the conversation up where it had left off, talking about family, hunting and fishing….one of those conversations that you are sad that it has to end due to other priorities. It was a trip I’ll never forget and one that I had wished to repeat at some point. My deepest condolences to Corey’s family and friends, he was an amazing guy and one that will be missed dearly. Rest in peace friend.

I first met Corey in St. Kitts on a Lance trip and we instantly became friends. We clicked because we were both young guys in the RV industry and had a lot to relate to. Even though I live in Fl and he was in Montana We would still keep in touch and share fishing and our vacation pics. I am so happy to have been friends with him and I am saddened by our loss. I pray for all the family and friends.

I met Corey during a mule deer hunt about 5 yrs ago where he and some friends were kind enough to host some Colorado boys on their home turf in the Breaks. Almost immediately I felt he was a kindred spirit. First sign was him showing up in classic Ford Pickup, 2nd was him promptly downing a grouse as we casually drove around looking for deer, and the similar interests didn't end there as we talked about fishing and family, his boys just a few years younger than mine, but having many of the same interests. After our hunt, Corey stopped by before our return trip and we picked right up where we had left off the past few days, it was one of those conversations that could have gone on forever. I left hoping to join for some ice fishing fun and maybe another hunt or two as well as getting to know Corey and his buddies better. My deepest condolences to his family, Corey was a great guy who we will all miss dearly. Corey, rest in peace and I can only pray that in Heaven we will all enjoy the happy hunting & fishing grounds and you're doing so right now.

Although I didn't know Corey personally, we lived in the same sub-division. He's round the corner where our house is and give me a smile on the way by. Once he paused and told me 'nice truck' even though mine is a Dodge, and I know he liked Ford's. I am really sorry to hear of his passing, and I am sorry for his Boy's and Family. I found out a bit to late to make the service otherwise I would have, but I just knew with that kind face that someday we would be friends. I am truly saddened and sorry, God bless.

My time knowing Corey short. I was lucky enough to meet him through Kyle W. in 2020 as we ventured to the Breaks for a deer hunt. His love the outdoors, his friends, his family, was immediately evident. He treated me as if we'd known each other for years. I will miss he group texts during hunting and fishing seasons. Rest in peace my friend. I was blessed to get to know you for a few years.
