Dale Scott Plain Feather

Dale Scott Plain Feather, 46, made his journey to The Other Side Camp, on May 10, 2026, at “Down the Road” of Pryor, Montana. He took his last breath with his beloved family by his side. Scott was the youngest sibling of four born on September 5, 1979 to the late Merle Peter and Ruby Carole (Yellow Robe) Plain Feather in Billings, Montana. His father gave him his Crow name, Akbaalasshi Itchesh (Likes to Rope). Scott was a part of the Uuwuutasshe clan and Child of the Uuwuutasshe clan. He was an enrolled member of the Crow Nation and his maternal side he is a part of the White Clay Nations.

Scott married Reba (Begay) Plain Feather on August 7, 2004 in Kayenta, Arizona. Together they had Scott’s prize beloved children. Raefield and Raesa, and gained a son during this union, O’Ryan.

He had many occupations during his lifetime, LBHC Garden Project, Truck driver under many companies in different realms of work, School Bus Driver, Roofer, Cook for PCHS, Ranch Hand,  Groundskeeper at Big Horn County Fairground, Traffic Control and his favorite of all a Race Horse Trainer. He enjoyed being a part of many activities and volunteering his time. He enjoyed the atmosphere of working with the youth, he helped with both Class C and AA high school activities. He volunteered with March of Dimes and any chance he got in the Pryor community. He spent his free time hunting, fishing, cruising/picnicking in the Pryors, and helping tie sweat lodges with all of his family.

Dale Scott is preceded to death to join his loved ones: Parents, Merle & Ruby Plain Feather, Paternal grandparents: Alec & Mary Other Black Bird-Plain Feather. Maternal grandparents: Leonard & Theresa Azure-Yellowrobe. Paternal aunts Ruby, Shirley, & Judy Plainfeather. Maternal aunts Erma ,Stella, & Rose Yellowrobe. Jenny McCrae.

Dale Scott is survived by his children O’Ryan, Raefield, & Raesa Plainfeather. His siblings Shannon Plainfeather, Danny (Mandy) Plainfeather, & Jason (Wilena) Plainfeather. Fathers: Danny (Mary Ruth) Plain Feather, Roland Plain Feather. Mothers: LeeAnn(Jackson) Pretty On Top, Warlene Comes Up, Kathryn Old Crow, Martha (Richard) King, Leta Rides Horse, Sharon Rides Horse. Sons: Riley Singer, Joel Old Person, Alec, Jack, & Jace Plain Feather. Sisters: SieAnna Real Bird, Aspen Real Bird, Lujuana Plain Feather, Fanny (Craig) Cliff, Ashley Brisbo, Jackie (Isiah Singer) Pretty On Top, ChristieAnn Medicine Tail, Mary Lee, Danielle Plain Feather, Lanea Plain Feather, Acelynn Iron. Fathers Brothers: Alex (Beldean) Plain Feather, Lionel Ward, Kenny Ward, Sampson DeCrane, Orin (Diane) Pickett, Bob Pickett, Titus Bryant, Shorty Plain Feather, Tanner (Tatah) Plain Feather, Tim(Ella) Plain Feather, Elias Plain Feather, Jess Plain Feather, Josh Pretty On Top. Mother:  His sons Alec, Jack, & Jase Plainfeather. Joel Old Person. Riley (Tasha) Singer. His daughters:. Tessa & Caelan Plainfeather. Grandchildren: Miles Fighter. Expecting grandchild: his babygirl’s son.
