I am truly sorry for the loss of your dear mother, “Betty." Death is difficult to deal with, especially when it’s mom. I’d like to share with you a promise from God that has helped me cope, found at Isaiah 25:8; “ He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” We are reassured that soon we will never have to lose our loved ones again in death at Revelation 21:4 where the apostle John wrote: “ And he will wipe every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” May you find comfort in these promises from Almighty God.
