Charles Ackerman

We knew him as Charlie. We met Charlie at the Blgs. Clinic cancer treatment center. For a year and a half he and Jay had the same schedule for their Vidaza infusions. Charlie became our friend. He always had a smile to share, and he often brought treats for the nurses. He gave us 2 wonderful books to read. Before Christmas Jay's schedule was changed, and we missed seeing Charlie. We exchanged Christmas cards with him. We were saddened to learn of his death. We feel blessed to have known him. Dorothy and Jay Randall

Chuck was the father of a very close friend of mine growing up!! He was a very kind hearted and generous man that always made sure we were taken of. I learned many life lessons from Chuck and will always remember him to be a gentle and loving person. You will be missed. Bryan Rabas
