Grama we will miss you like no ones business. From the plastic flowers to the crazy polka dot chair, we loved you. We take comfort that you are now with Jim and Grandpa and the rest of the gang. It wont be the same here without and it probably wont be the same up there with you. Thanks for the christmas card. Until I see you again, I love you.

Kay is now the most brilliant angel shinning in the universe. I had the privilege of working with her at St. Bernard's Parish years ago. Her dancing blue eyes sparkled while she volunteered for so many, many tasks there. Whether it was stuffing envelopes, folding church bulletins, preparing funeral luncheons or, my favorite, portraying "Dirty Gertie" at a Church Women's gathering. No matter what the task, she could handle it with such grace, and then thank us for asking her to help. She had a lot to teach us "young things", and I hope she was proud of us. Thank you, Kay, for being a good role model and an even better friend.

I was saddened to hear of Aunt Kay's passing, but I know for a fact that she lived everyday to the fullest. She showed up at my father's retirement party (memorably as Dirty Sally) and at my mom's funeral even though though the January weather in eastern Washington was horrible. My family loved having her around at those times. Kay was one of those people who you simply can't forget and because of how she lived her life and the positive effect she had on people she won't be forgotten.
