What a beautiful tribute to your mother! I will always remember your mom (dressed impeccably and hair perfectly styled) being outside in your front yard cheering and supporting Emily riding her bicycle with her dolls and Gary Jr. playing with his friends. Memories...may they bring you joy and comfort forever until you meet again. XOXO

We wanted to share our condolences with Bette's family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3,4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.

B Rae, we will miss your delight in life. I enjoyed teaching with you and sharing Senior High. Kris Keup

I only knew Bette through education -- Senior high with Toby and Casey and their sports. And although I didn't teach with her, I know how she cared for others and how much she worked to make her sons the best they could be. My sympathies to the family.

I met B.Rae when I was teaching at Will James. She always had a smile and warm greeting for students and staff. I was delighted when she invited me to a brunch at her house with fellow educators. It was at that brunch that I met her delightful and gracious mother, Moma. I heard pool stories that B.Rae delighted in telling. She raised 3 strong children as a single, working mom. The stories told at her service were tender, funny and all full of love for Betty Rae. May those memories comfort and strengthen her family.
