Obituary
On January 11, 2011, after a lifelong career as a Master Craftsman, Barry Lynn has gone to a place that has the finest hunting, the calmest rivers for fly fishing and his heart and soul are at peace. Barry was born November 4, 1953 in Bethlehem, PA, the son of Martin and Marcene (Hersch) Lynn. Barry attended school in Bethlehem where he started his career as a carpenter. In 1975 he moved to Montana where he met Charlotte Riesinger. They were married on August 12, 1978. He worked as project supervisor for 20 years at Fisher Construction. Barry was a Cub Master for the Cub Scouts, a Little League coach and later president of the league, a life member of the Billings Motorcycle Club and a high school hockey coach. He enjoyed the outdoors, fly fishing, hunting, camping, and loved hockey and motocross. He enjoyed carpentry and received a Craftsman year award. Barry is survived by his wife Charlotte; daughter Melissa; sons Daniel and Michael; sisters, Debbie (Pat) Fenton, Bonnie (Jeb) Riccaboni, Kathy (Bill) Vresics, Keri (Steve) Heckenberger; mother Marcene. He was preceded in death by his father Martin. Service: Memorial Services for Barry will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 14 at Dahl Funeral Chapel.

Dear Char and Family, I heard about Barry from Sharon and I want to send my deepest sympathies to you and your family during this difficult time. I'm sure I met Barry at a school reunion many, many years ago so I didn't know him well. But after reading about him it is obvious that he must have been a wonderful husband and father. Char, Danny, Michael, Melissa, I will always remember your husband and father as a fun-loving and dedicated coach and father. The last two years of hockey—which was high school league—coached by Barry were wonderful, thanks to his determination and commitment. Those were the years that I came to know you as a family through the many hockey tournaments to which we traveled together. I will always remain grateful to Barry for his perseverance in helping to create a high school hockey environment from which each player as well as the entire school benefitted. We’ll all miss you. I was deeply sad to hear that Barry is no longer with us. He was always kind, always had a joke to tell and always smiled, even at the referee's. You will deeply be missed and I will pray for God to bless all of your family and friends so that we can all be strong and remember the good times.
