Dear Char and Family, I heard about Barry from Sharon and I want to send my deepest sympathies to you and your family during this difficult time. I'm sure I met Barry at a school reunion many, many years ago so I didn't know him well. But after reading about him it is obvious that he must have been a wonderful husband and father. And I hope those wonderful memories are what you will all keep in your hearts forever. Stay strong and our prayers and thoughts are with you. Take care, Marilee

Char, Danny, Michael, Melissa, I will always remember your husband and father as a fun-loving and dedicated coach and father. The last two years of hockey—which was high school league—coached by Barry were wonderful, thanks to his determination and commitment. Those were the years that I came to know you as a family through the many hockey tournaments to which we traveled together. I will always remain grateful to Barry for his perseverance in helping to create a high school hockey environment from which each player as well as the entire school benefitted. We’ll all miss you. I was deeply sad to hear that Barry is no longer with us. He was always kind, always had a joke to tell and always smiled, even at the referee's. You will deeply be missed and I will pray for God to bless all of your family and friends so that we can all be strong and remember the good times. I will always remember how generous you were with your time and passion towards the things you liked. Wayner
