I enjoyed reading about Wilma's life. Especially the story about her wanting God to finish her mansion. A few weeks ago I found a letter written by Wilma which was a reminder of her warm sense of humor. Enjoy your mansion Wilma I'm sure it is more beautiful then we can imagine.

When I was ten, my brother Daniel and I got to spend the whole summer with our grandmother Wilma. what a thrill it was when I realized that the pink and white lacey bedroom was where I got to sleep (coming from a family of six children, having the room to myself was an absolute luxury). What I remember most was her serving us hot chocolate every night in her delicate china tea cups. She made me a beautiful apron and taught me how to make her award-winning pie crust which I still make for my family every thanksgiving. Goodbye Grandma. Thanks for teaching me how to make pie crust, tend your garden and serve your family with humor and love.

Wilma was an inspiration, both directly and indirectly, to so many during her long life. I know that she inspired me to share with many of my friends that one of the reasons that Wilma was so healthy for so long was due to her viewing exercise as medicine, "taking her exercise" every day, dragging her exercise bicycle into the living room and peddling as she watched TV. And, her regular stretching routine allowed her to bend over and place her hands flat on the floor, even until recent years! We will miss her heart-warming laughter and determination to treat every day as a gift. She lives on in our hearts and memories.

I wish to express my condolences to the family of Wilma McIntosh. Wilma is a wonderful person I have had the honor and privilege of knowing for most of my life. Our family has been her neighbor and friends ever since we moved to the West-end of Billings when there were only the two houses in a hay field. Wilma was like a second Mom, keeping an eye on us five kids and in our later years giving us feed-back on how she saw each of us acting and yes miss-behaving. We also got to play with the dogs and enjoy her beautiful gardens. I was able to see and visit with Wilma early this year right after her 100th Birthday - What an accomplishment! We talked about Kansas (where I ended-up working) and her great adventures as a child in that State. It was a pleasure to see and visit with her that last time. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Wilma, Jonie and I love you and have already started missing you but we know you are in a better place. Now remember, Christians neve have to say good-bye but we do say, "I'll see you later." To the rest of the family, may God bless you all as you go through this, just remember, at almost 101, she is still a child of the King, and we will get to see her again. I take great comfort in knowing this. Pastor Jim & Jonie Head
