Obituary
Maxine “Mickey” (Leigh) Oltrogge, 95, passed away December 26, 2012 at Eagle Cliff Manor in Billings, Montana. She was born February 25, 1917 in Parshall, North Dakota, the daughter of Jesse and Mabel (Foss) Leigh. Maxine married Wesley McClure and to this union two daughters, Veleda and Maureen, were born. She married Charles Anderson in 1946 and they had a daughter, Cheryl and two sons, Leigh “Andy” and Curtis Anderson. In 1974 she married Vernon Oltrogge, who passed away in 2002. Maxine worked for Coles Department Store for many years. Later she worked for Gambles and Associated Food Stores. Maxine is survived by her children, Cheryl Cysewski , Curtis Anderson; grandchildren, Julie Makeeff, Brian Grimes, Heather Heberlein, Shannon Wiley, Sydney Cysewski, Shauna Anderson, Brianna Anderson, Charlie Anderson; 8 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her children, Veleda Grimes, Maureen Heberlein; Andy Anderson; grandsons, Patrick Heberlein, Adam Anderson; Brandon Anderson; sister Muriel Leak, brother Darwin Leigh and Bert Smallwood. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the LDS Blue Creek Ward Chapel at 3595 Monad Rd. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are in the care of Dahl Funeral Chapel and memories may be shared with the family at www.dahlfuneralchapel.com

back in "81" aunt mickey and mom were rescued by national guard helicopter . they got to my home so giddy about first helicopter ride. love to family. reg

It was with great sadness that I learned of Mickey's passing. She was a dear person and a dear friend. I can attribute so many of my favorite memories to her and I am blessed to have shared my life with her. She introduced me to many of the passions I still enjoy today,and I will never can another quart of tomatoes, or plant another seedling without thinking of her. I will be forever grateful for having had her in my life. Despite having been separated by distance and circumstance, she was never far from my heart or my thoughts. I will be forever thankful for the time I spent with her and the memories I shared with her and her beautiful family. I take great comfort in knowing that she was greeted on the other side, by her heavenly father and so many of her loved ones that passed before her. I know that there was great rejoicing upon her arrival, and I look forward to seeing her in her heavenly garden. My prayers and thoughts to Curtis, Cheryl and their families.
