Margaret and family, Deepest sympathy to you. While we did not vist as much as some neighbors I enjoyed knowing Jim. Appreciated his assistance on shoveling my driveway and walk when I was at work. He will be missed. Sincerely, Laura Lunney

Dear Margaret and family, I'm so sorry for your loss of a great man. My Mom & Dad (Theresa & Earl Dahlstrom) thought the world of Jim. I will always remember him as a very gentle, sweet, quiet man. He was very much a family man. My sympathy to you all. Love, Bev Dahlstrom Flagler

My condolences to the family. Mr. Pickett was the most mild mannered person I have ever known. It was obvious that he cherished his family. I attended 12 years of school with his son Mike. I'm not sure how it got started but somehow Mr. P. got the job of hauling a bunch of teenage boys home from Billings Central every day of our Freshman year. He would pick us up after he got off work in that old white Chevy pickup. We would all pile into the back and scream and carry on all the way out to the west end. He always had a big smile on his face and was so nice to us boys. I am honored to have known him.
