I had the pleasure of meeting Pat on our little island paradise of Isla Mujeres. She shared her story, we exchanged laughter a time or two on the beaches and enjoyed some conversational Spanish with other women on the island. I admired her strength and her courage in her continuing battle with cancer. Pat, you were determined and yet prepared for whatever the outcome. I learned a great deal from you strength and your courage. I will miss your visits to the island. R.I.P. and fight no more. Enjoy your reunion with your Wally now.

I was lucky enough to meet Pat on Isla three years ago. We became fast friends going to the beach, out to dinner, trips to Cancun. I have two rescue dogs. Pat fell in love with them and they her. She house sat for my dogs three wonderful times. Her attention to detail suited them perfectly. She cared for everyone with the same eye for detail and caring. One night after dinner on the Isla I had a reaction to eating peanuts. Pat rushed me home, gave me two shots, put me to bed, and called Dr. Salas all without blinking. Thank you for everything you did Pat. I will remember you always with love.
