Marjorie Stephens

Linda and "kids" ... What a lady! She touched the lives of so many and was soooooo loved so many of us. Surely she will be missed by everyone who knew her. Rest in peace, dear friend!

Marge was my mother, Claire's, friend all throughout her life, starting with childhood. They grew up together in the same town and graduated together from Senior High School in 1945. My mother always stayed in touch with Marge and always visited with her and their high school friends whenever she came to Billings. They were always so happy together! My mother has many stories. One is of her and Marge attending a concert when Marge visited her in Bakersfield, California. Marge had an aisle seat. An older woman was struggling to make her way up the aisle. Marge jumped right up to keep her from falling. This is just an example of the way she was with people. Marge was one of the most caring and kind people I have known. I have a photo of Marge and Mom when we all went out dinner. I think it was one of the last times I had to spend with her. We had a wonderful time, as usual.
