Obituary
Mom was our angel on earth now she is God's angel in heaven. Our mom Jo Bonogofsky died Friday November 7, 2014 at home surrounded by family. She was born September 7, 1933 in Laurel, MT to parents Michael and Mary Schaff. Mom graduated from Central High in 1952. She met our dad Vince when he returned from the service. They married January 26, 1957. They had 5 children, Janet, Cathy, Mike, Debbi, and Sondra. Jo had 4 granddaughters Destiny, Pamela, Lori, and Jenny that love her more than words can say. Because of her all of us girls are strong willed and have big hearts that we will pass on to our children. Jo loved BINGO. There she met many wonderful friends and adopted many employees from bingo as part of her extended family and they meant the world to her. She also enjoyed doing home crafts. She always made holidays special. If we mentioned someone had no place to go for the holiday she always made them feel welcomed at our house. If it was Christmas she made sure they had a gift under the tree. She was a very giving person and her heart was made of gold. Jo is preceded in death by her parents and all 9 siblings, her husband Vince, and her twin children Cathy and Mike. She is survived by her daughters Janet Bonogofsky, Debbi (Bud) Barth, Sondra (Randy) Selby, granddaughters Destiny (C.J.) Zielie, Pamela (Ty) Lantis, Lori (C.C.) Cole, Jenny (Jay) Ellis. Grandma Gigi also leaves behind 6 great grandchildren Presley, Aiden, Mia, Collin, Reign, and Avery. "She was more precious than jewels and nothing that you desire could ever compare to her." Proverbs 3:15 Mom/Grandma/Gigi this is not goodbye, we will see you again. We all love you. A Memorial service will be held at Little Flower Catholic Church Tuesday at 11 a.m. with a reception following. A graveside burial of ashes will take place after the reception, at Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Little Flower Catholic Church.w

Jo was a very special neighborhood mom ,always made sure all of us girls was safe .We could always know that on our way to school or on our way home she would always watch us walking home . my prayers and thoughts are with you all.We do know Cathy and Mike and your Dad were at open arms for her just waiting to give her the biggest hugs ever. From Sondra's friend - Michele McKamy: ...On a sunny warm day in November our Lord looked about himself and sighed...soon was coming a time to celebrate in Heaven the arrival of Angel Jo. The celestial Kitchen would soon have a new Chef with a life long collection of delicious recipes , guaranteed to please the resident glowing souls, heavenly stars and Blessed Saints.
...On the same sunny November day the dear family and friends wiped there tears and held each other in a sigh for their loss of Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and great friend. Although she has passed, she shall remain an inspiration. Her memories will fill the lives of all who knew her and replenish their hope and souls with her recipes of strength, compassion and Love of Life. ...On the following Tuesday, with all those close to Jo and her beloved family and friends, the Angels wept frozen tears and lightly blanketed the earth with the warmth in our Lords Holy Blessing of white sparkling prayers.
Blessing and Prayers shall will always be with you my friend, Sondra and your family. My thoughts are with you for this loss and always. M
