Nick French

Nick Alan French was born to the proud parents of Ray and Maretta French. Born in Billings, MT on October 22, 1958, he was the fourth of five children. He attended Billings Public schools all of his school career. He met and fell in love with Lanette (Huffman), and they married in 1988. From this union, April was born. He was so proud of his little girl, she was the apple to his eye and will have a bond that will never be broken. Nick worked at the Federal Building and several other maintenance jobs until going to work for Walmart until he retired. He loved hunting with his Dad and brothers and mushroom hunting with the entire French family. The French family loved spending time at his parent's cabin on the Stillwater. Nick was a huge sports fan with a particular dedication to the Green Bay Packers. He loved country and rock and roll music. He had a huge heart for all of the dogs he had over the years. Nick is remembered by his family as being a simple man who loved his family. Nick is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Maretta French and grandson Christopher (French) Copeland. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Lanette, and daughter April (Eric) French of Billings, MT; his siblings Bobbie (Carl) Michotte from Nye, MT, Doug (Sue) French of Billings, MT, Karen (Steve) Snook of Norwood, CO and Al (Terri) French of Columbus, MT. In the fullness of time a life's journey ends. But love once shared continues to live. And beyond this day . . . that love prevails. Until we meet again . . .
