Nick French

Our thoughts and prayers are with Nick's family. We do know that Heaven is a place we all hope to be some day. There is no better place to be. Nick is in good company there with his Mom and Dad and other relatives and friends. We were neighbors of the French Family in our early years and we my brother Donny and sister Jeanie and I got to spend lots of time camping with Nick and Family and those are some of my most treasured memories that I will have forever. Lanette & April, I wanted to share a few of my favorite memories of my Uncle Nick. When I was little, maybe 4 or 5, Uncle took me an my brother Jimmie fishing. We were so excited! Uncle was casting for us when he hooked something...my ear. I screamed bloody murder. Poor Nick! He very carefully got the hook out. But that was the last time he took me fishing. LOL! Uncle Nick loved to play cards. Especially Hearts with us kids. He was the one who taught us to "shoot the moon!". Uncle Nick had such a wonderful spark and enjoyment in life. I am so lucky to be his niece.
