Dale was an unusual and amazing man. I always liked him, but my respect for him grew every year. I feel he was a leader anointed to help many other men. His attitude, determination, persistence, attention to details, willingness to risk, and example made him a man I (and many others) wanted to follow. I had the good fortune to be "one of the ones" he helped and he made my life better. In all this, God was his priority and I thank God he put Dale in my life.

Davis Family - we mourn with you and pray for God's comfort to cover each of you in the ways you need. Dale was an incredible human who touched the lives of so many people and in so many different ways. He was a man of sharp intellect, keen wit, infectious humor, steadfast stubbornness and unrivaled intensity. These, as with all of the strengths each of us carry, brought much joy to the world...and sometimes hurt as well. I'm confident that the joy is what continues to live on in the lives of each of the people who crossed paths with Dale. The world is a better place because he walked around on it....his amazing family is a testament to that fact!

Dale was an awesome person always worried about his friends and family. Met Dale in high school then we both worked for my father on the farm. Dale was always the push to get as many people as possible to the reunions. He loved to go to the Reno air races and Oshkosh flyin. We went to several together and had a great time. Often one might be reluctant to sit next to him as he was always pulling pranks on people he didn’t even know. In one case we barely escaped without bodily injury. May the Lord be with you my friend! And family.

Rest in peace, my old friend. You deserve it. My memories are rich with love, warmth, friendship and support from our countless journeys around the Globe. I betcha Mark will remind that he died first, and that second place is first place for losers. Remember the T-Shirts we all had? You were a blessing to all who knew you. Be missed by many.
