Ken was one of my best friends I enjoyed that time we spent together. I also enjoyed teaching Hunter Education with him.

Ken was a huge influence in my life … I always thought of him as my other father … we shared a lot in common, I feel so bad that I never went fishing with him one last time, as any role model in life he was always telling me to slow down and enjoy life, unfortunately I didn’t make it down to go fishing with him but I always enjoyed working along side Ken as a mechanic and fishing with him he was so talented in everything he did I feel honored to know him and call him my friend

I worked with Kenny back in our days at Warren Transport. He would regale me with stories from his time at Peterbilt and taught me a ton. I was lucky enough to somewhat apprentice under him on engine work and then began doing engine jobs on my own. He was an avid outdoorsman, as evidenced by his BUXNBUL license plate at the time. He bought his Harley towards the end of his tenure there and I really saw joy in Ken’s life then. He always spoke highly of Dustin and Kaylee at work and was a proud dad. Life took us in different directions and different job titles, but they always revolved around spinning wrenches. I’d occasionally text him and let him know I was thinking of him, and he perpetually reminded me we needed to get together, have a refreshment, and shoot the breeze. Sadly, we never got to. I was lucky enough to see him right before Christmas at a band concert at Shepherd and he looked so happy and content in that moment. We chatted for about ten minutes or so and lamented that we had some catching up to do. Sadly, we’ll never have that cold snack, but know I think about you often and have some great memories. Rest easy sir and God Bless
