His joy was in his family. We still have the cartoon picture he drew of Toni. She was family as well. I know he is walking with the Lord.. Telling the Lord how wonderful his family is, bragging on all their accomplishments. He will be missed.

Mr. Dye will be missed. My fondest memory of Coach Dye... he promised to buy me pizza after every baseball game I hit a homerun at Lissa Little league. To his surprise, we went for pizza after every game. I feel bad now knowing I probably drained his bank account :) RIP Coach. Paul Lawver

I met Gerry and Carol at Messiah Lutheran Church and they became good friends. A great couple for almost 60 years. Gerry was always giving Carol flowers “just because”. Gerry had a great sense of humor and an enthusiasm for life, but especially for baseball. We went to many baseball games together and I was proud to help out at Lisa’s Little League.

My sweet, kind, and loving friend. I loved his art. When Jerry was courting Carol, we used to double date. I was friends with his mother, and sisters and brothers. I will miss him. Jerry was a good man to his wife and family, along with others. Jerry’s compassion towards friends was never ending. I remember he shared being beside Willy Milliron comforting Willy until Willy passed away. Thank you Jerry for being the person that you were. You will be missed.
